In recent years I gained extensive experience with public event creation and directing and municipal management. I helped in the creation of two nonprofits, managing all meetings, recruiting members and board members, creating, directing and operating all events such as the 2nd Friday ARTwalks, the Christmas on Broadway Parade, Downtown Social, Community Table Dining Experience, Noel Night Shopping Event, Scavenger Hunts, Art Installations, and more. I worked closely with town and county staff, police, fire dept and paramedics, obtained event and liquor permits, raised funds through sponsorships and tickets, waste and recycling management, rental companies for barricades, table rentals, etc., coordinating lighting designers, sound systems, DJs, I hired MCs and event assistants, managed volunteers, recruited and managed vendors and food trucks, did all the graphic design, signage and marketing, managed road closures, and so much more...
